The other day I was flipping through news channels randomly and the disturbing stories of self-destruction came choking me from all sides and I was completely drawn to an awful emotional state cause that very morning while reading a newspaper, I was aghast by knowing the alarming rate of suicides, suicidal attempts and self-ruining stories which seemed to be endless and the figures are only rising. So, where is the respite?

Gone forever, deep in silence, but wait, the story doesn’t end here.  It actually raises a question that “are we so very vulnerable in the hands of love which is supposed to be one of the most strong reasons to make us reasonable and positive in Life”? Why is it like being trapped in love? Why become a victim of expectations in the illusion of Love?

Young boys and girls are bidding goodbye giving us a very sorry state of relationship which has become frail and fragile not for all but for a sizable amount of youngsters for sure. This is saddening, heart-wrenching but true. It’s disparaging to come to the reality that even our respect for self couldn’t be our saviour. Love and respect for one’s self should be of prime importance. It may sound way selfish but it will never let you down in dumps and let you ruin your life. Do we need anything more, JAAN hai to Jahan hai. We have no right to end it for anyone or anything uncalled for, that’s the biggest sin of all. We just have one life and we must make the most of it.

Two most important decisions we have to take now, one is ‘Decide’ and the other one is ‘Remove’. Decide what are your priorities and remove who all are taking you away from achieving that and draining you off completely emotionally, mentally and socially. We are alienating ourselves from societal belongings, familial connections and all our future aspirations being trapped in the illusion of relationships which reality is faulty and a very fanciful imagination of love. Nope, we don’t need them, not anymore. Start respecting and loving your life and love them who add fuel to it to energize but not who suck you up day in and day out. You must not allow anyone to control the strings of your life and tame it according to their preferences. It is your life and it’s purely a celebrated one that you truly have to nurture, protect and take care of. So, let’s take a pledge to make our life worth living and most importantly worth loving…
